This contract was to build and fitout Cisco’s first New Zealand based office located in Auckland City. Cisco Systems demanded a high standard of finish using modern and bright joinery, combined with colour backed glass and an aluminium partitioning system. Canam Joinery worked closely with the construction team and the Architect to great effect to finalise all design details and work within a tight budget. All materials were craned in via a large man cage, through a narrow window in the end of of the building. An operable wall was used to divide training spaces with a selected wood veneer finish and feature flooring was used throughout to create individual spaces. State of the art audio and visual electronics were installed in the boardroom, including New Zealand’s first telepresence room, from which real time world wide video conferencing could be undertaken. A high degree of co-ordination was required with the client who was based in both Australia and Singapore. The project was completed on programme and within budget. |
