This challenging fit-out involved linking two floors of an existing 4 storey building through a newly constructed internal stair, and then the subsequent fitout of both floors. One of the key challenges was to work over the top of an existing live medical facility on the first 2 floors.
A large section of roof was removed and a glass atrium constructed. The new staircase involved cutting out the existing slab and the insertion of new steel beam sections. The finishes throughout comprise of exposed honed blocks, finished timber panels, glass and fabrics.
The end result is a stunning example of an open plan work space linked with meeting rooms and break out areas. |
