This Canam design and build facility won the Property Council Tourism and Leisure Property Award 1999.
Canam delivered a unique recreational and entertainment centre that exceeded the customers expectation.
The project consisted of an eight lane competition pool, a leisure pool, kiddies pools, lazy river, swirl pools, sauna, changing rooms, showers, associated amenities, a shop and a café.
The complex incorporates a wave machine, specialist water filtration that includes diatomaceous earth filters together with an ozone treatment system. A co-generation plant has been designed to provide for the energy requirements of the site.
A state of the art moveable floor has been included in the competition pool. This can be utilised for learn to swim, aerobics, paraplegic access and numerous other activities.
